He began with pop-up dinners around Utah County, crafting five-course meals for over 25 guests at a time. Through these events, Chef Brandon honed his recipes and techniques, mastering the art of delivering steakhouse-quality dishes in a fraction of the time.
As word spread, demand for his culinary creations grew, and Chef Brandon enlisted the help of friends and family to keep up. By March of 2015, Kitchen 88 debuted as a "kitchen on wheels," serving up mouth-watering smoked tri-tip and decadent mashed potatoes from a food truck. The unique concept quickly captured the hearts (and appetites) of locals, making K88 an instant hit.
The popularity of Kitchen 88 necessitated expansion. In early 2020, the dream fully materialized with the opening of the first brick-and-mortar Kitchen 88 in American Fork. This permanent spot has allowed even more people to experience Chef Brandon's expertly crafted dishes.
